# I can't hear my voice through the megaphone

**Why does this happen?**

This is expected behavior. Currently, the **megaphone** script does not support a personal echo feature, meaning you won’t hear your own voice when using the megaphone.

**Is this a bug?**

No, this is not a bug. The script is designed this way, and the lack of personal echo is intentional.

**Can this be fixed or added?**

* At this time, the **megaphone** script does not include a personal echo feature.
* If this feature becomes available in the future, an update will be provided to include it.

**What should I do in the meantime?**

You can continue using the megaphone as intended. Your voice will be broadcasted to others on the server, even if you cannot hear it yourself.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.rytrak.fr/scripts/advanced-megaphone-system/faq/i-cant-hear-my-voice-through-the-megaphone.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
